NEWS: AOS Live at Putney School in Vermont!
New York, NY…January 18, 2014 – Art of Stepping is proud to announce that it will be performing and host our trademarked workshop on Monday, January 20 at Putney School located a 418 Houghton Brook Road, Putney, Vermont.
The Putney School is a co-educational boarding and day school for Grades 9-12 founded in 1935 by Carmelita Hinton. A progressive school, in that they value the idea that education is something to be actively pursued rather than passively received. When students learn by doing rather than being told, they develop confidence, deeper understanding, and resolve. AOS PRO is an established division consisting of professional step members across the nations that are dedicated to promoting the art of stepping amongst their communities by participating in local exhibitions and competitions, hosting their own shows, and working to expand our after-school program. We currently have professional teams in California, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, New York, New Jersey and Tennessee.
In addition, AOS has created a specific workshop for Putney students taught by AOS founder, Jessica ‘REMO’ Saul and AOS PRO. Saul will teach stepping via AOS’ copyrighted and trademarked curriculum, the REMO System, which teaches stepping through mathematical formulas by utilizing Leonardo Da Vinci’s – The Vitruvian Man as a symbolic base.
