Free Webinar – Understanding the New Majority Minority
Please join us from 3:00 – 4:00pm Eastern on Thursday, April 24, 2014 for a Free Webinar on the Lifestyles and Behaviors of Hispanic & African American Youth. RSVP here
Hosted by MEE Productions, the leading experts in understanding and communicating with urban youth of color. In Partnership with The National Campaign to Prevent Teen and Unplanned Pregnancy.
MEE Productions will host a one-hour webinar to provide an overview of the findings from its national youth quantitative study, Inner City Truth 3 (ICT3), which offers candid views from urban minority youth on a range of critical topics, from health to relationships to violence and pop culture. Co-sponsored by the National Campaign, ICT3 is based on a 100+ question survey conducted with 1,700 African-American and Hispanic inner-city youth ages 16 to 20 from Los Angeles, Oakland, Philadelphia, Chicago and Atlanta. This is the third installment of the Inner City Truth series over the past decade. It was administered over a five-month period in mid-2013. ICT3 goes beyond the demographic profiles, attitudes and behaviors. It also captures the “why” behind youth behavior and choices, along with highlighting trends that indicate what comes next.
ICT3 provides an understanding of the worldview, aspirations and lifestyles of inner-city youth. It captures information ranging from their expectations and perceptions of K-12 education to their views on interpersonal relationships, unplanned pregnancy, contraception and more. It explores where urban youth spend their time, their physical activity and nutrition habits and their usage and preferences across the full spectrum of media channels, including social media, online and wireless. The webinar will give you an inside look at the survey findings – a must for anyone who works with youth of color and with youth from all backgrounds. Learn more about the surveyhere.
Please join us and Campaign staff for an informative and thought-provoking session!
