Latino Fraternal Organizations Decry Efforts to Promote Discrimination

Considering current events, the National Association of Latino Fraternal Organizations (NALFO) and its member organizations would like to reinforce that our organizations embrace people of diverse backgrounds and celebrate their contributions to our communities and society at-large.  We are committed to providing a supportive, safe, and welcoming environment to our members regardless of immigration or refugee status. We remain vigilant about supporting the human rights of immigrant communities, among others, and decry efforts to promote discrimination based on any characteristic except the content of one’s character.  Lastly, NALFO supports the civic and political engagement of its individual members, as we feel exercising one’s political rights is a fundamental privilege that should be valued by our society.

NALFO exists to unite and empower its member organizations and their communities through advocacy, cultural awareness, and organizational development while fostering positive inter fraternal relationships and collaborating on issues of mutual interest.
